Delivery & Returns
All items on our website are delivered free of charge if the value of the order is £250 or more to UK Mainland addresses - this does exclude the Highlands of Scotland (see postcodes below) - for which we charge £40. For these customers, once you have placed your order we will phone you to confirm delivery arrangements. The postcodes which incur an extra £40 charge are:
IV16-IV56, KW, PA20-PA78, ZE.
At Living Home we deliver your order in the most appropriate way for the items you have ordered. Furniture needs care to be delivered safely and without damage.
Our small individual items such as nests of tables, lamp tables and bedsides are delivered using an express courier - as long as the item is in stock you should receive it within 2-3 working days.
Our larger or multiple items are delivered using a professional furniture logistics company - this takes longer (typically 7-14 days) but it ensures that it arrives safely into your home.
Sofas, occasional chairs and other bespoke items are made to order and take 6-8 weeks for delivery. These are delivered by the manufacturer direct to our customers using a professional furniture distribution company - these are always a two-man delivery.
Once you've placed your order we'll let you know the item(s) is in stock and delivery timescale - and any tracking information where applicable.
In the rare event of a customer receiving a damaged or faulty item we endeavour to make exchanges and returns very easy. In the first instance please call us within 48 hours of receipt of the item(s) where possible. We may ask you for pictures which show the problem - this may include pictures of damaged packaging (interior and exterior) and the item itself. We would then arrange for the item to be returned or exchanged. All returns need to be sent back in their original packaging - couriers will not collect without this.
